Arsenal strengthened their grip on the top four on Saturday with a 1-0 victory over Aston Villa at Villa Park and manager Mikel Arteta said it was a wonderful feeling hearing fans chant about the UEFA Champions League.
The Gunners won the game and kept a clean sheet with back-up goalkeeper Bernd Leno in goal with Aaron Ramsdale missing due to injury. With the last kick of the game, Leno produced a save to guarantee his side left with all three points and Ramsdale made sure to congratulate his teammate after the final whistle.
The only goal of the game was scored by Bukayo Saka who had a message to referees when the game was finished.

Arteta heard fans
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta spoke to fans after the 1-0 win over Aston Villa, telling them he heard their chant his name at the end of the game.
The Gunners left Villa Park with all three points thanks to Saka's first-half goal and supporters inside the stadium made their feelings heard by chanting "We've got Super Mik Arteta, he knows exactly what we need, Kieran at the back, Gabi in attack, Arsenal on the way to Champions League!"
Arteta addressed the chant and fans when speaking after the match, telling supporters it felt 'great.'
Ramsdale's Leno gesture
Aaron Ramsdale missed the win over Aston Villa due to a hip injury and was replaced by former number one Bernd Leno in goal.
But that didn't stop the England goalkeeper from travelling down with the team to watch in person. With Bernd Leno in between the sticks and keeping a clean sheet in the process, including a last-minute save, Ramsdale was spotted alongside his Gunners teammate at the final whistle by eagle-eyed supporters.
The pair's moment of togetherness was also picked up by TV cameras.
Saka's message to referees
Saka's journey from Hale End academy graduate to first name on the Arsenal teamsheet took another step forward on Saturday when his goal proved to be difference against Aston Villa.
Whether it was intentional or not, Villa players singled out the talented England international with tough challenges which weren't always picked up by referee Andy Madley. When Saka did speak to the man in the middle, he was subjected to a chorus of boos from the home supporters.
Speaking to BT Sports after the game, Saka explained what he said to Madley.
