Ilkay Gundogan blow
Arsenal transfer target Ilkay Gundogan has reportedly made a decision on his future as he approaches the end of his contract at Manchester City.
Previous reports suggest that Arsenal have 'concrete interest' in the former Borussia Dortmund star, but it now seems Barcelona are going to secure his services.
According to Spanish outlet Sport, Gundogan is ready to 'close the chapter' on his spell in the Premier League and has been convinced to join Xavi's side. Barca are said to have offered the midfielder a three-year contract, an additional year to the initial two-year proposal.

Sacha Boey movement
Arsenal have reportedly made their first move to sign Galatasaray right-back Sacha Boey with an opening bid worth €20million (£17.2million).
According to Turkish outlet Turkiye Gazetesi, Arsenal have submitted an opening bid worth €20million (£17.2million) for the 22-year-old and are "determined to finalise the transfer".
However, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has suggested there is yet to be any proposal made by the north Londoners, at this stage. He wrote on Twitter: "Arsenal have not made any proposal for Sacha Boey at this stage, despite reports. Been told there was no meeting with his new agents, just one of many players appreciated but not a negotiation as things stand."

Pre-season plans continued
Arsenal will face German outfit Nurnberg in a pre-season friendly for the second summer running, football.london understands.
Preparation is already underway for next year, starting with a friendly against the Bundesliga 2 side at the start of pre-season. The fixture will be the fourth confirmed as part of Arsenal's pre-season. Arteta's side will face a MLS All-Stars XI on Thursday July 20 before taking on Manchester United (July 22) and Barcelona (July 26) - all of which will be in the United States.
The meeting with Nurnberg will be the second meeting between the two sides in consecutive years after the north Londoners ran out 5-3 winners last July. Gabriel Jesus scored twice on his non-competitive debut for the Gunners, with own goals from Christopher Schindler and Tim Handwerker completing the turnaround.
This year, Arteta's side will travel to Germany to face Dieter Hecking's outfit as part of their pre-season training camp at Adidas HQ.
