Arsenal reached the knockout phase of the Europa League on Thursday thanks to another dominant performance, this time against PSV Eindhoven.
The Gunners beat Ruud van Nistelrooy 's side 1-0 to confirm their place in the last 16 of the competition after Granit Xhaka 's second-half strike. The midfielder tucked home Takehiro Tomiyasu's cross, capping a comfortable night at the Emirates - at least on the pitch.
Unfortunately, the end of the match was marred by violent scenes around the area which PSV's supporters were placed. However, it wasn't quite as chaotic as what'd been happening through the day across London, as Liz Truss ' resignation has even had ripple effects at Arsenal.
Here's a round-up of the latest news from the Emirates.
Gunners book knockouts ticket
It wasn't the most eventful night in north London - well, at least compared to the rest of the capital. Granit Xhaka's goal sent Arsenal through to the knockout stage of the Europa League, meaning they'll also avoid playing two fixtures in February to ease their schedule.
Mikel Arteta once again shuffled his pack, as the Gunners stars on show proved that there's more to this exciting squad than the first XI. PSV Eindhoven travelled to the Emirates hoping to halt Arsenal's 100 per cent record, but they became the latest side to be put to the sword.
UEFA launch investigation
Sadly, PSV supporters marred the occasion by ripping up seats at the Emirates and throwing flares towards the home fans. Distressing footage was captured by those inside the ground, as one video showed a visiting fan throwing a flare towards the home neighbouring section after full-time.
It thankfully missed the departing Arsenal fans, but several PSV supporters were seen ripping out seats, prompting riot police to intervene and UEFA to launch an investigation. It spoiled the end of the match for those who'd witnessed yet another dominant Gunners display.

Truss offers chance for history
Something Mikel Arteta won't have expected to come across during his preparations for the Europa League clash was Liz Truss' decision to resign as UK Prime Minister. After a crisis-ridden 44 days in No.10 Downing Street, the Conservative leader quit her post on Thursday afternoon and will be gone by the end of next week.
That means that if Arsenal can beat Southampton at St Mary's on Sunday and do the double over PSV in Eindhoven, they'll have managed to win every single one of their 10 games during the time in which Truss was PM. The Gunners last lost a game away to Manchester United on September 4 and have been imperious since.
