Arsenal's move for Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic may have hit a snag, with the Gunners struggling to free up space on their wage bill and the forward shunning contact with his club.
The Serbian and his agent are currently not engaging with the Italian side according to CEO Joe Barone.
It comes as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has snubbed a move to Saudi Arabia, which could hold up Arsenal's swoop for Vlahovic.
With the Gunners facing the prospect of having to consider alternative targets, Alexander Isak has already dropped a huge hint he'd consider a move to the Emirates.
Here are Mirror Football's latest Arsenal headlines.

Isak's Arsenal hints
Real Sociedad striker Alexander Isak is one forward Arsenal have been linked with if they can't land Dusan Vlahovic – and the Swedish forward has dropped several clues he could be keen on the move.
Isak, 22, has repeatedly been linked with Mikel Arteta's side in recent years but a move has so far not materialised.
But the striker has previously spoken about his desire to play in the Premier League, as well as the fact his footballing idol growing up was Gunners legend Thierry Henry.
And what's more, he's also the 'best of friends' with a player already on Arsenal's books.
Aubameyang stalls Vlahovic move
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has rejected a move to Saud Arabian sides Al Hilal and Al Nassr.
Aubameyang has been pushed to the sidelines at the Emirates following his disciplinary breach at the beginning of December which saw him stripped of the club's captaincy and left out of Mikel Arteta's matchday squads.
And the forward's decision to stay at the club could hold up any other attacking investment – meaning a swoop for Dusan Vlahovic could be held up.
Vlahovic shuns talks
Dusan Vlahovic is currently "not answering" calls from his club Fiorentina, who want "clarity" on his future, according to club CEO Joe Barone.
Vlahovic has lit up Serie A this season with 17 goals in 21 games, and with the player out of contract at the end of next season he is expected to move on at some point this year.
Arsenal are keen to land his signature this month as they expect other clubs to enter the market for him in the summer, but the player appears to be stalling for time while he makes his decision.
And Barone has now hit out at the player and his agent over the situation.
