Mikel Arteta 'planning' for Hector Bellerin return
Mikel Arteta has revealed that he is planning for Hector Bellerin to return to Arsenal next season when his loan spell at Real Betis comes to an end this summer. The 27-year-old has made 22 appearances in La Liga this season, winning a Spanish Cup in his time there too.
Answering a question about the future of the Spaniard, Arteta said: “Any player with a contractual obligation with us, both ways, is our player and is considered our player, every plan considers that possibility (that Bellerin could stay) exists and how they can fit into our team."
Bukayo Saka injury update
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has revealed that he expects Bukayo Saka to be available for Sunday’s clash with West Ham. The England international was a doubt for the game, having limped off in last week’s 3-1 win over Manchester United.
Discussing his injury, Arteta said: “Yes, hopefully, he will be fine, he had some issues in the final part of the game but he has recovered well and we expect him to be fine.”
