After missing out on last season's Champions League places by just one point, Arsenal's preparations for the upcoming campaign have already begun. The Gunners are currently away in Germany where they are in the middle of a pre-season training camp at Adidas HQ in Nuremberg.
"We're very pleased to have our training camp at Adidas HQ confirmed to kick off our pre-season schedule," said Mikel Arteta. "I'd like to thank Adidas for hosting us. We're excited to get to work at the world-class facilities the campus has to offer. The fixture against FC Nürnberg will be a good test for us as we look to make a strong start to pre-season."
The trip has so far seen signings Matt Turner, Marquinhos and Gabriel Jesus all look to impress their new teammates ahead of Friday's friendly with FC Nurnberg. And now a fresh new face has joined the group in Germany.
