When Arsenal completed the signing of 18-year-old William Saliba in 2019, not many would have predicted the severe pace of his development.
The France international spent three seasons in Ligue 1 with Saint-Etienne, OGC Nice and Marseille after costing the Gunners £27million. His time on the pitch increased year-by-year whilst out on loan, with his return to London Colney in the summer greeted with welcome arms as the perfect partner to Gabriel Magalhaes.
In England, the 22-year-old had featured in every single Premier League game up until the middle of March. A back injury in the Europa League exit to Sporting CP, though, has seen him miss the last six league games.
