Arsenal may already have the next Bukayo Saka who Jack Wilshere and Mikel Arteta love

Arsenal Under-18s boss Jack Wilshere has compared teenage starlet Amario Cozier-Duberry to fellow Hale End talent Bukayo Saka.

Saka has established himself as one of the very best players in the Premier League over the last couple of seasons, netting 12 goals and providing a further ten assists in the league this term - numbers that have helped Mikel Arteta's side build up an eight-point gap at the top of the table. Now, Wilshere has likened 17-year-old Cozier-Duberry to the England international, who is still just 21.

When speaking about the talented teenager, Wilshere told football.london: "Amario is very exciting and Mikel (Arteta) likes him. He reminds me of Bukayo Saka, plays in the same position as him, needs to get better with his decision-making like Bukayo did, but he’s definitely exciting. In some moments he’s unplayable.

“You give him the ball and he can make things happen. You can set up a team and have a game plan, but when you’ve got individuals like that you’ve got a chance.”

Cozier-Duberry has scored ten goals and provided six assists in just 24 outings this season, as per Transfermarkt, earning a place on the bench in four of Arsenal's Premier League matches this season, although he is yet to make his debut for the senior side.
