Arsenal youngster Salah Oulad M'Hand is close to completing a loan move to Hull City, football.london understands. The Dutch midfielder was a key part of Kevin Betsy's under-23 side last season and was rewarded for his performances with a substitute appearance during the first team's pre-season friendly victory over Nurnberg last month.
Talks are thought to have been going on for some time over a move for Salah. A breakthrough was finally reached this week though and the midfielder is expected to complete the formalities for the move in Hull today where he will reportedly wear the club's number 10 shirt.
football.london understands that the loan move does include an option to buy next season. However, this will be a significant financial commitment for Hull that will ideally ensure the 18-year-old gets as much game time as possible at the MKM Stadium this year.

Salah arrived at Arsenal in the summer of 2020 as part of a large academy intake that saw the club also sign Tim Akinola, Nikolaj Moller, Jonathan Dinzeyi and George Lewis. Since then the Dutch youth international has gone on to play 24 times for the Gunners under-23 side, scoring six times and grabbing three assists.
Salah joins Charlie Patino, Marcelo Flores, Omar Rekik, Tyreece John-Jules, Mika Biereth, Ryan Alebiosu, Ovie Ejeheri, Alex Kirk and Mazeed Ogungbo in having left the Arsenal academy set up on loan this summer. Academy director Per Mertesacker is keen to use the loan market as much as possible to help expose the Gunners youngsters to first team football and to raise their value for potential sales.
