After a flurry of new signings arrived through the door at Arsenal, it seems that there will be a period of calmness, at least for now. The Gunners have made five additions so far, spending around £120m in the process. However, a bloated squad and a lack of departures likely mean that attention will turn to offloading players, unless a good opportunity presents itself in the meantime.
Several players could leave in the coming weeks, including Bernd Leno, Hector Bellerin, Lucas Torreira and Nicolas Pepe. However, it is the latter's future that perhaps has the most anticipation surrounding it due to the impact it may have on further incomings.
Arsenal's record signing is believed to be keen on leaving the club this summer following a lack of game time last season. The 27-year-old recently switched agents in the hope that his future can be resolved as quickly and smoothly as possible. Despite this, there have been no concrete offers made so far and nothing appears to be imminent.

Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta is thought to be on the lookout for a new winger before the window slams shut and the unsuccessful pursuit of Raphinha has been the strongest hint yet that the club is serious about recruiting one. Considering there hasn't been any movement since suggests that the chance to secure the Brazilian's services was too good to ignore.
Despite that possible explanation, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Edu already has his sights set on another winger but Arsenal's silent approach is making it difficult to get clarity over who it could be.
"A winger, they wanted Raphinha, but now that is not the case as we mentioned," Romano said on Que Golazo. "So, for Arsenal, we will see if they go for another winger. I will try to let you know who the player is. I have an indication but I can’t speak yet because I have to check and make sure it’s the right name. I’m working on it, they’re very good at keeping it quiet this summer."
Several names have been mentioned as the quest to unveil the 'mystery' player continues, but PSV Eindhoven's Cody Gakpo could be one of the most realistic options that fits the bill. football.london understands the Gunners are interested in bringing him to the Emirates following a standout campaign in the Eredivisie.
Gakpo bagged 21 goals and provided 15 assists in 47 appearances last season, leaving a host of clubs on high alert. One of those reportedly includes Leeds United, who are looking to replace the aforementioned Raphinha, so if Arsenal's interest is serious, they may have to move quickly.
The 23-year-old is comfortable on either flank and can even operate as a centre-forward if required. His versatility will no doubt impress Arteta, who wants to improve the overall depth of his squad.
