After a flurry of new signings arrived through the door at Arsenal, it seems that there will be a period of calmness, at least for now. The Gunners have made five additions so far, spending around £120m in the process. However, a bloated squad and a lack of departures likely mean that attention will turn to offloading players, unless a good opportunity presents itself in the meantime.

The 27-year-old recently switched agents in the hope that his future can be resolved as quickly and smoothly as possible. Despite this, there have been no concrete offers made so far and nothing appears to be imminent.
