Arsenal have already found their next Bukayo Saka for Mikel Arteta after Hale End breakthrough

Arsenal may have already found their next Bukayo Saka in the form of Amario Cozier-Duberry.

Saka is the best youngster Arsenal's Hale End Academy has produced for many years, with the winger currently at the forefront of the Gunners' title charge. At just 21-years-old, Saka is already closing in on 200 appearances for his boyhood side, establishing himself as a key player ever since his debut in 2018.

Saka has netted 10 goals and provided nine assists so far this season, and is now also a regular member of Gareth Southgate's England setup. That said, Saka very much remains the only player in Mikel Arteta's squad who can perform to such a high level at right-wing, and as such, Arsenal may seek to find cover for him in the summer.

However, that man may already be currently at the club in 17-year-old Cozier-Duberry. Like Saka, Cozier-Duberry is a boyhood Arsenal fan, has progressed through the ranks, and is capable of playing in several positions. Of course, during Saka's early days in the first team, he featured regularly at left back.

But ultimately, Cozier-Duberry's favoured position is very much on the right hand side, with the teenager a regular in the club's U23s. Speaking to Give Me Sport, football.london Arsenal writer Kaya Kaynak has likened Cozier-Duberry to that of Saka due to some of his attributes on the pitch, as well as his ability to play in different positions.

"He's a similar player in the sense that he's left-footed, can drift central, and can play a creative midfield role. He generally tends to play on the right-wing but he's very versatile and can play a lot of different positions.

"Much like Saka did when he first broke into the team. He started off at left-back, now as a right-winger and who knows, Cozier-Duberry is definitely someone who could do that."
