Here is your Arsenal transfer round-up on Saturday, May 27.
Real Madrid transfer chance
Arsenal could be handed a chance to land a Real Madrid star for free this summer as Relevo reports that Marco Asensio is nearing an exit from the club. The Spaniard has rejected the latest contract offer from Los Blancos, with his current contract expiring in the coming month.
The Gunners have been linked with a move for Asensio in the lead to the summer, meaning they could be on red alert to land the attacking midfielder.

Declan Rice breakthrough
Arsenal have made a breakthrough in the transfer chase for West Ham midfielder Declan Rice as the Mirror reports that he has made a move to the Emirates Stadium his preferred option. The Hammers captain has been heavily linked with a move to the Gunners alongside the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea.
Mason Mount bidding war
Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool have all been linked with a switch for Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount this summer, with his contract nearing the final 12-months. With such interest, Fabrizio Romano claims that the Blues are attempting to create a bidding war over the 24-year-old.
He said: “This is what they [Chelsea] want, they want to start a bidding war for Mason Mount. They want more than £80million for Mason Mount. But he’s out of contract next summer and this is not an easy situation to handle because the expectation around the player is for the price tag to be different, to be less than £80million.
“But Chelsea are still there and they want important money to let Mason Mount go. For sure Manchester United are there, for sure Liverpool and Arsenal are also interested. What Chelsea hope is a bidding war.”
