Arsenal transfer target Gianluca Scamacca will be leaving Italian club Sassuolo this summer according to a leading transfer expert.
The towering forward, he stands tall at 6’5, recently signed a contract extension at his club which looked to have ended any hope of a summer transfer away form Serie A. But according to Fabrizo Romano, the extension was agreed so that Sassuolo could loan him out.
Speaking to former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand, Romano revealed that the plan for the 23-year-old is to loan him out at the end of the season and insert a clause that will see the player leave for a permanent transfer. Having scored 13 goals in 31 league appearances this season, the transfer guru added that a host of clubs are interested in Scamacca's services.
