It’s safe to say that the Arsenal faithful are rather excited about Mykhaylo Mudryk’s potential arrival this month and it’s no surprise as to why.
Whenever a new signing is linked, it can be easy to get carried away even though your knowledge of the player in question isn’t particularly strong. However, in Mudryk’s case, we are talking about a player who has the potential to become one of the best in the world.
Everybody who knows the Ukrainian well or watches him on a regular basis is full of praise, highlighting the special and unique talent on offer. Of course, as is the case with any player who is moving abroad, there are some reservations about how the 22-year-old will adapt to life in the Premier League, especially due to the fact that he has only made 44 senior appearances.

Despite the concerns, Mudryk has already proved why he will continue to showcase his quality in England through his Champions League performances over the last two years. The Shakhtar Donetsk man has put in several Man of the Match displays against strong opposition, including Real Madrid and RB Leipzig, scoring three goals and registering two assists across six appearances this season.
In fact, supporters of Los Blancos were so impressed by Mudryk, they applauded him with a standing ovation when he was substituted off at the Santiago Bernabeu during a match in 2021. Fans then took to social media, suggesting that the Spanish giants should sign Mudryk as a result of his display. "Sign him up," one tweet read. While another said: "The guy is a baller. Tormented Carvajal and Casemiro."
The praise which Mudryk has received from people all over the world, not just in Spain or Ukraine, should offer some reassurance to those who still carry doubts. After all, Madrid fans have and continue to watch some of the best players to ever grace the pitch, so they recognise a star when they see one.
