Arsenal fans have shared their concern over rumours that Kim Kardashian will be at the match against Bayern Munich.
A Gunners fan account alleged that the Disney+ star is “planning to visit” in a post on X, formerly Twitter, alongside a photo of her and her son West from an Arsenal game last year.
The news of her reported attendance has unsettled many loyal fans of the club, some of whom humorously believe in a "Kardashian curse" affecting Mikel Arteta's team.
Kardashian was in attendance in March last year when Arsenal crashed out of the Europa League final 16 after a penalty shootout loss to Sporting OP.
Subsequently, the team experienced a downturn, dropping points in six out of their next ten games. This allowed Manchester City to overtake them and secure their third consecutive Premier League title.
A year on, Kardashian's reported plan to attend Tuesday's quarter-final coincides with Arsenal's current position at the top of the table and their upcoming double-header against a struggling Bayern Munich side.
In light of the speculation, superstitious fans expressed concern on social media, recalling past instances where they felt optimistic about facing the Bundesliga team.
One fearful fan penned on X: “We're finished man” while another commented: “Somebody stop her.”
A third added: “Someone please inform UEFA that she is a Bayern Munich supporter.”
Another cautious Arsenal fan shared: “I remember what happened the last time she came! she can stay away as far as I'm concerned.”
Previously, Kardashian explained on her family’s reality TV series, The Kardashians, why she was in attendance at the team’s Europa League game.
She shared: “I try to find what my kids' passion is, and do a trip with them. I've taken Chicago and her friends to San Diego.
“They love the zoos and the Legoland's and all that. Luckily, Psalm just tags along, you know. North loves Paris and fashion, so I took her to Paris.
“Saint loves soccer, so I figured this is our trip. It's going to be so much fun and it definitely is just such an amazing bonding experience.”
In the episode, Kardashian posed with an Arsenal shirt presented by Eddie Nketiah while her son Saint and his friends were clad in the club's strip as well.
The Standard has contacted Kim Kardashian’s rep for comment.
