It was just a week before Bukayo Saka injured his hamstring in December that Mikel Arteta floated the idea of moving the winger into a more central position.

Arteta was asked about the prospect of a position switch in an attempt to extract even more from Saka, who was Arsenal’s best attacking player this season up until that point.
