Arsenal may be yet to announce a new signing, but there is certainly plenty of work going on behind the scenes in preparation for a busy transfer window.
Whilst there is a clamour amongst Gunners supporters for news on any potential arrivals amid links to the likes of Gabriel Jesus, Aaron Hickey, Gianluca Scamacca and Youri Tielemans, it's important to remember that a number of first-team players are likely to depart too.
The first of whom will be Alexandre Lacazette after Arsenal announced on Friday that the striker - who joined for a then club-record £46.5m fee in the summer of 2017 - is to leave on a free transfer when his contract expires on June 30, with a return to Lyon heavily mooted.

Furthermore, Hector Bellerin, Lucas Torreira, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Nicolas Pepe, Bernd Leno, Alex Runarsson and Pablo Mari could also be sold as Gunners technical director Edu looks to raise funds in order to bolster Mikel Arteta's first-team squad ahead of the new season.
However, it's not just permanent exits that will be on the agenda as Arsenal are likely to send a number of players out on loan next season. Young defender Harry Clarke is already included in the 2022/23 loan army having joined Scottish Premiership side Hibernian on an 18-month deal in January, which means his spell at Easter Road is due to end next summer.
Meanwhile, some of the club's most promising youngsters such as Omari Hutchinson, Brooke Norton-Cuffy, Karl Hein, Arthur Okonkwo and Mika Biereth could all use loan spells next season to aid their development, whilst Tunisian journalist Walid El Mechri has claimed that Omar Rekik will finalise a loan move in the coming days, with Lille linked.
It remains to be seen if that's the case with Rekik, but one Arsenal player who is certainly heading out on loan for the 2022/23 campaign is Auston Trusty. This was confirmed by the club on transfer deadline day in January after completing the signing of the defender from MLS side Colorado Rapids.
"Trusty, 23, will stay with the Colorado Rapids until at least the end of the Premier League season in May," a statement via the club's official website read. "The intention then is to loan him in Europe for the 2022/23 season to further progress his development."
Which European club Trusty ends up joining on loan has not been disclosed just yet, but it has already been decided that the 23-year-old won't be part of Arteta's plans for next season.
In terms of incomings, Trusty's compatriot Matt Turner is expected to be the first new arrival at the Emirates Stadium after revealing he is due to fly over to London in a couple of weeks to undergo a medical and then complete all the formalities following a £4.5million deal that was agreed in January.
"My official release [from New England Revolution] is the 24th June," he said when speaking to Fox Sports last month. "I think the Revs have games on the 19th June and then the 26th. So, I would be available for selection for the 19th but not the 26th. My flight's booked for right after that game on the 19th."
