Arsenal Women's pursuit of a domestic and European treble has suffered a major blow after it was confirmed captain Kim Little will miss the rest of the campaign with a hamstring injury.
Little has been a standout performer for the Gunners this term but limped off just 12 minutes into last month's Champions League quarter-final clash with Bayern Munich. Arsenal overcame a 1-0 first-leg deficit to triumph 2-0 at the Emirates and reach their first Champions League semi-final in a decade.
However, if Jonas Eidevall's side are to topple German champions Wolfsburg and make it to this year's Final, they will have to do so without Little, who is expected to return to full fitness ahead of next season.

In a statement on Monday, Arsenal said: "Our captain has already begun her rehabilitation and this process is progressing well. We expect her to be available for the start of preparations for the 2023/24 season.
"Our medical team will support Kim closely over the coming months and we look forward to see her back on the field of play soon."
Arsenal have had to contend with their fair share of injury setbacks this season, with star forwards Beth Mead and Vivianne Miedema already sidelined after rupturing their anterior cruciate ligaments.
But the Gunners will have to rally quickly in Little's absence if they are to add a Women's Super League or Champions League title to their Conti Cup trophy.
Arsenal will take on league leaders Manchester United on Wednesday night in a crucial game at the top before facing Wolfsburg in Germany on Sunday in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final, with the return leg at Emirates Stadium on May 1.
