Mikel Arteta has persisted with the team that drew away to Southampton. Despite calls for Kieran Tierney to start, Takehiro Tomiyasu keeps his place at left back with Ben White chosen at right back.
Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba both keep their place. The Brazilian was videoed limping back to the team bus after the game with PSV but trained yesterday and is clearly fit enough to start the game.
Aaron Ramsdale remains in goal with Matt Turner's tight groin injury proving enough to keep him out of the side. Karl Hein gets a Premier League squad call-up, the youth stopper spent part of last season on loan with Reading.
