Arsenal are close to agreeing a new contract with goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, according to the Telegraph.
Ramsdale joined the north Londoners for £30 million back in the summer of 2021, much to the dismay of large sections of the fanbase. However, the talented shot-stopper has proved any doubters wrong since, establishing himself as one of their most important players over the last two seasons.
Now, it is claimed that the England international, along with right-winger Bukayo Saka, is close to penning a new deal at the Emirates Stadium. football.london reported back in February that Saka told the club that he wants to stay as the Gunners close in on securing their star player to a new contract.

The 21-year-old, who is into the final 18 months of his current deal with Arteta's side, has enjoyed a stellar 2022/23 campaign, netting 13 goals and providing a further 11 assists in the Premier League this term. He had been linked with a move away but the Hale End academy graduate is set to commit to a long-term contract that will last until 2028.
The new deal will see him be made one of Arsenal's highest-paid players earning in the region of £200,000 per week. Speaking about both Saka and William Saliba's future with the club earlier this year, Arteta told football.london : "Part of the plan is to extend the contract of our biggest talents at the club and commit them for the future and we are trying to do that.
"We have started with Gabby (Gabriel Martinelli) which is good news. The others will be done whenever we can, but we have to agree on that.
"I see everybody really happy and really willing to continue with the club. But obviously, we have to meet everyone's expectations and timing is key on that."
