Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd must match £40m Real Madrid ambition in Endrick transfer decision

As far as known Brazilian teenagers go, Enrick is probably the most famous. To even have a Transfermarkt page with your stats at the age of 16 is impressive. To be pursued by every club in Europe is quite another level of good.

The 16-year-old, born in 2006, is pulling up trees, and everyone wants him to become their own. He has two goals and one assist in four senior matches for Palmeiras, as well as six in seven for the under-20 side in the junior competition. 16-years-old.

Endrick alone is reason enough why top European clubs want to establish a multi-club system to monitor and develop young players across the world under their bracket. Finding Endrick would be like striking a gold mine.

Reported interest links Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool and Barcelona - as well as every other team out there - to the forward. He has five goals in four matches for Brazil's under-17 team too.

The latest reports indicate that Los Blancos are preparing a bid for the youngster, which could pressure other clubs to follow suit.

Arsenal signed 19-year-old Marquinhos for £3m over the summer and can draw vague parallels to a deal that would get them Endrick. Chelsea spent over £50m on teenagers alone in the window under Todd Boehly and have shown their desire to focus on the academy as well.

Real Madrid, however, already have previous with signing vastly expensive young Brazilians after securing Vinicius Jr for £40m as an 18-year-old in 2018. He is now one of the most feared wingers in world football, and the gamble of such a young, raw player massively paid off.

Teams are expecting Endrick to bring similar rewards further down the line, and Madrid also have examples of Brazilian success with Rodrygo, Casemiro and Eder Militao as well. According to Marca, the Champions League winners have decided to go ahead with making a bid for Endrick. Although this will far from secure him, especially given the queue at the door to sign him, if Madrid does pursue him fully, then it could start to weed out those who are serious about trying to get his signature.

With their history in the market for young players, anyone wanting to make the statement of signing Endrick already has proof of how far the Spanish giants will go. It is also worth noting that Brazilian players can be signed as youngsters but are not able to move or play outside the country until they turn 18, as Enrick will in 2024.
