Arsenal are reportedly eyeing a move for Lille wide man Edon Zhegrova in a deal that could be worth just £11million. That's according to the Sunday Mirror, via HITC, who claim that the Gunners are looking to make a move.
The Gunners have slipped to sixth in the Premier League after a third defeat in a row. Saturday's loss to Southampton means they're now behind both Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United in the race for Champions League football as it's becoming more and more clear that Edu will need to try and strengthen Mikel Arteta's squad this summer.
football.london understands that the Gunners will target two centre-forwards in the transfer window. A midfielder is also expected to be on their shopping list, as is full-back cover for Takehiro Tomiyasu. Any other purchase - for the right money of course - may be a luxury, but one that will only help to strengthen Arsenal moving forward.

Plenty of names have been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium, with Zhegrova being the latest. With Lille needing to sell players this summer, it’s reported that Zhegrova can be signed for around £11million plus add-ons.
The Sunday Mirror's report notes that Zhegrova has been branded as the 'Lionel Messi of the Balkans' - a very bold claim indeed. The wide man has managed to find the net six times in 23 games this season, whilst also registering seven assists in that time.
Arsenal seem to have a decent relationship with Lille having purchased both Nicolas Pepe and Gabriel Magalhaes from the Ligue 1 outfit in recent transfer windows. Zhegrova's supposed transfer to north London may even be linked to Pepe given that the Gunners are expected to listen to offers for their club record signing come the end of the season.
