Charlie Patino is attracting interest from several clubs, including La Liga giants, Barcelona. The 19-year-old has massively impressed whilst on loan at Blackpool and with his contract at the Emirates Stadium running down, some of Europe's major players are starting to take note.
Patino's current deal is set to expire at the end of this season, although Arsenal have the option for a two-year extension before a certain point in the coming months.
However, football.london understands that the Gunners are yet to trigger this option. It's understood that no new contract offer has been made to the youngster while he has been out on loan as of yet. Italian outlet Calcio Mercato has reported that Barca are also keeping an eye on the situation. Patino also has a Spanish passport would understandably help any potential move.

If Edu doesn't act quickly, the Gunners may face losing Patino for nothing when his contract runs out at the end of the season. football.london has previously reported that Arsenal are unlikely to trigger the January recall clause in his loan move.
The fact that Omari Hutchinson was allowed to move to Chelsea in the summer should be a learning curve. Hutchinson, who has been on Graham Potter's bench more than once this season, was one of Hale End's brightest prospects before his move to west London earlier this year.
Following the success of Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe and Eddie Nketiah over the last few years, the Gunners won't want to lose another youth product who is talented enough to make an impact in north London. Edu can solve that issue but he will need to activate the clause to keep him in north London before agreeing a new deal sooner rather than later.
