Arsenal may have been given a route to sign Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus in January but it would likely involve the departure of a key first-team star. Despite snubbing the Gunners for Juventus last January, the Serb's future in Italy is unclear with interest arriving from the Premier League for his services.
With Arsenal looking to gain depth at centre-back, particularly on the left side, Gabriel Magalhaes emerged as a possible contender to depart north London if Arsenal were to move for Vlahovic, given that Juventus still consider him to be their left-footed defensive successor to Giorgio Chiellini, as per CalcioMercato.
However, the Italian giants are now eyeing a different Arsenal star in an ambitious move that could be used a ploy to get Vlahovic at Emirates Stadium.
