Chelsea star Callum Hudson-Odoi has been linked with a surprise move to Arsenal this summer as Edu looks to satisfy Mikel Arteta's transfer demands.
The Gunners are thought to be interested in adding a new winger to Arteta's squad before the transfer window slams shut at the end of August. Hudson-Odoi has fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge following the arrival of Raheem Sterling, with the Blues looking at loaning out the 21-year-old forward.
Premier League rivals Newcastle are interested in signing Hudson-Odoi, who looks set to leave the Blues this summer. Whether that is a permanent or loan deal remains to be seen, but now Arsenal have joined the race as Edu looks to weaken another top four rival. Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko were signed by the north Londoners earlier this summer, joining the Gunners from Manchester City as Arteta secured reunions with the pair after his time working with them at the Etihad Stadium.
