Arsenal have announced the departure of Marquinhos on a loan deal to Norwich. The young Brazilian joins the Canaries until the end of the season and will return back to the Emirates Stadium once the campaign comes to an end.
The Brazilian has found game time hard to come by managing just one minute in the Premier League and 79 in the Europa League. With the arrival of Leandro Trossard from Brighton in the January transfer window Arsenal are now well stocked in the forward positions.
Marquinhos had been linked with a loan move away from the club when he originally joined in the summer transfer window, but Mikel Arteta kept him at the club after the Gunners opted against signing another winger in the summer.

Marquinhos' departure was announced early on transfer deadline day with Edu set for a busy end to the window. It may not be the end of the outgoings today, with Cedric Soares also heavily linked with a move to Fulham.
There could also be more incomings as Arsenal are also considering a move for Chelsea midfielder Jorginho, football.london understands. The Italian player has been linked to the Gunners in previous seasons.
