As much as I wish I knew who Arsenal were going to sign or at least target this summer, I'm afraid I don't have the ability to look into the future.
What is becoming more clear, however, is the profile Mikel Arteta is after when it comes to potential attacking recruits. The Gunners have been linked with several names including Jonathan David, Darwin Nunez, Cody Gakpo, Armando Broja and Dominic Calvert-Lewin, all of whom can play either centrally or out wide.
To further back up the idea of Arteta's strategy, Turkish outlet Aksam has reported that Arsenal and Spurs are among clubs interested in Galatasaray's Kerem Akturkoglu.

It's added that the two clubs have been following the player for a while and official offers could be proposed at the end of the season. Primarily a winger who can operate on either flank, the 23-year-old also has experience as a centre-forward and second striker.
Described as a 'rising Turkish star', Akturkoglu is enjoying his best campaign yet after scoring 11 goals and providing nine assists across 44 appearances so far. Following Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's departure in January, Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah are currently set to leave Arsenal once their contracts expire in June.
It means a major striker revamp will potentially be required at the Emirates and football.london understands two forwards are being sought after ahead of the summer window. With Champions League qualification a strong possibility for the Gunners this season, improving squad depth must be a key objective for the club and it would appear that it's currently being looked into.
Gabriel Martinelli can fill in as a striker if required, but a lack of game time for Nicolas Pepe could result in Arsenal's attacking options decreasing even further.
Links to the aforementioned transfer targets do not only indicate the aim to add quality but they also point towards Arteta's preference to have an increased level of versatility throughout the attacking areas, which can be hugely beneficial moving forward.
