Bayern Munich's stance on Leroy Sane's potential exit has been revealed amid links with a move to Chelsea and Arsenal this summer. The former Manchester City winger has struggled to reach some of the heights of his times at the Etihad Stadium so far, although he still has three years left on his deal in Bavaria.
The links to both London clubs come as they look to continue their transfer window rebuild. The Gunners have been quick with their business so far, making four additions, while Oleksandr Zinchenko looks set to be the fifth after a £30million fee was agreed upon from Manchester City.
In contrast, the Blues were slightly slower in getting their deals over the line. The new names have started to filter through now though, with Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly joining the squad so far.

While the two rivals have been on separate paths when it comes to signings for most of the window, they have already clashed over one target. That was for Leeds United winger Raphinha, although both sides lost out to Barcelona in the race for his signature.
As they missed out on the Brazilian, another attacking option could make the move to either team as they look to bolster their squads. One of those linked to fill that role is Sane, with claims that the London teams could make their move for the Germany international.
However, Bayern Munich remain reluctant to sell, according to Sky Sports Germany. Reporter Florian Plettenberg said on the winger, via Teamtalk: "“It’s possible that some people have offered him to Arsenal but not in the name of Sane.
“We have been told it’s not an easy situation for him at Bayern Munich. He has not shown performances the club is expecting from him but it’s too early to say that he’s a candidate for sale.
“I think that Bayern Munich will give him the season to prove himself. But Arsenal and Sane or Sane and Real Madrid – right now, it’s not hot.”
It seems as though a move is unlikely for the 26-year-old this summer, meaning Arsenal and Chelsea may have to switch their attention elsewhere for forward options in the market.
