Serge Gnabry and Bayern Munich are confident that they'll reach an agreement for a contract extension. The news will come as a blow to Arsenal and Chelsea fans who were hopeful that the German would make a sensational return to the Premier League.
Arsenal have long been linked with a move for Gnabry. Although, even with reports from abroad suggesting otherwise, football.london understands that the Gunners aren't looking to bring him back this summer.
Meanwhile, football.london also understands that the Gunners' rivals Chelsea want to bring in two attackers this summer. One of those was of course Raheem Sterling, who was announced as a new Blues player on Wednesday evening.

The west London outfit tried to sign Raphinha and Ousmane Dembele too, but they subsequently missed out on both as the two wingers chose Barcelona over them. That misfortune led to links to Gnabry, but it seems as though they'll have to turn their attention elsewhere once more.
As per Kicker, Gnabry and Bayern are confident that they’ll reach an agreement for a contract extension beyond 2023.
The 26-year-old has just one year remaining on his current deal but it's believed that he's satisfied with the Bundesliga outfit's latest contract offer. Now, it’s about the final details before a total agreement is reached.
There's a hope amongst Arsenal fans in particular that Gnabry will return to the Premier League before his career ends. But it looks as though he's got plans to stay in Munich for a little while longer at least.
