'Arrogance': Akhilesh Yadav slams UP Govt. over UPPSC aspirants protest

Lucknow: Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday slammed the Uttar Pradesh government over UPPSC aspirants protest, saying 'due to its arrogance the government only accepted half of the students demands, but they 'can't fool' the aspirants'.

The former UP Chief Minister took to X (Formerly known as Twitter) and wrote:"As soon as the BJP government understood the election math and saw its defeat looming, it pulled back, but its arrogance got in the way. That's why it’s only accepting half of the demands. The candidates will win. These are today’s intelligent youth; the government can’t fool them with empty promises."

He further said that BJP's defeat in election will bring jobs to the country's youth.

Addresses a rally

Apart from this, while addressing a rally in Phulpur, Mr Yadav said students' protest is valid and also accused the BJP of taking away the jobs of the youth.  

 

UPPSC postponed the exams

Earlier, the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) postponed the RO, ARO exams and announced that Provincial Civil Service (PCS) exam would be held in one day. 
The notification regarding the new announcements will be realesed soon. 

The protest by UPPSC aspirants against the Commission's decision to conduct the RO-ARO and PCS preliminary exams on different dates entered its fourth day on Thursday.
