Person found dead on tracks close to Mersey train station
A person was found dead on train tracks near to Huyton railway station.
A spokesperson for the British Transport Police said: "Officers were called to Huyton railway station at 8.57am today (August 17) following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
"Paramedics also attended, however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene. This incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner. "

Much-loved London brand opening new coffee shop in Liverpool ONE
A new coffee shop is opening in Liverpool ONE.
Black Sheep will open inside the former EE Shop unit on Paradise Place. The chain is well known across the UK, with venues in London, Manchester, Birmingham and other cities.
