Arrests have been made after a car rammed a chasing police vehicle and drove through two parks. Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said the silver Nissan Note failed to a stop for members of the force's Roads Policing Unit (RPU) who were on patrol in Bolton.
There began a pursuit lasting around 15 minutes during which the patrol was rammed, the force said on its GMP Traffic page on Twitter.
It also went off-road and drove through two separate parks, they added.

They did not name the parks but said the National Police Air Service (NPAS) helicopter was drafted in as part of their efforts to stop the vehicle.
The occupants of the car eventually de-camped and were arrested by officers. No further details about the incident have been disclosed.
However, GMP shared images of the Nissan badly damaged at its front end.
