Celebrity crocodile wrangler Matt Wright has "strenuously" denied any wrongdoing after police issued a warrant for his arrest in relation to a fatal helicopter crash that killed Outback Wrangler cast member Chris "Willow" Wilson.
NT Police on Monday issued a warrant for the arrest of a 43-year-old man in relation to the crash in remote West Arnhem Land in February.
Police said the 43-year-old man has been contacted through his legal team and told to present himself to NT Police by Wednesday at 9am.
When he presents himself, police said he will be charged with perverting the course of justice, destruction of evidence, fabricating evidence, interfering with witnesses and unlawful entry.
Mr Wright was not on board the helicopter at the time of the accident.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Mr Wright said he "strenuously denies" any wrongdoing in relation to the crash.
"What happened was a tragic accident that took the life of a close mate," the statement said.
"His immediate concern following the accident was the condition of the two team members on board at the time. The next priority was ensuring the other helicopters and team members at the site weren't at risk and that the location was safe.
"Matt will not be making any further statement."
Mr Wilson, 34, was killed in the crash while on a job collecting crocodile eggs.
Helicopter pilot, Sebastian Robinson, was airlifted from the scene with serious injuries.
Former high-ranking NT Police Officer Neil Mellon and fellow helicopter pilot Michael Burbidge have been charged in relation to the crash.
Mr Mellon has been charged with more than 30 offences, including disclosure of confidential information and obtaining benefit by deception, while Mr Burbidge has been charged with four offences, including attempting to pervert the course of justice and destroying evidence.
Neither man has entered pleas yet.
Mr Mellon will return to court next month and Mr Burbidge will return to court in January.
