Arrest made in connection to murder of 32-year-old Natalie McNally in Northern Ireland

Police in Northern Ireland have made an arrest in relation to the murder of Natalie McNally.

The 32-year-old was fifteen weeks pregnant when she was murdered in her home in the town of Lurgan in Northern Ireland on December 18.

Detectives investigating the case are currently questioning a 46-year-old man, who was arrested in the South Belfast area on Friday.

A reward of up to £20,000 for anonymous information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for her murder has been offered by Crimestoppers.

Belfast Live report that a spokesperson for the Police Service of Northern Ireland said: "Detectives investigating the murder of Natalie McNally in Lurgan on 18 December 2022 have today, 13 January, arrested a 46-year-old man in the south Belfast area.

"He has been taken to Musgrave Police Station where he is currently being questioned by detectives."

Detectives continue to appeal for anyone with information relating to Natalie's death to contact them on 101.

Alternatively, information can be provided to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at crimestoppers-uk.org.

Natalie McNally was laid to rest on December 26 as hundreds of mourners gathered to remember the "much-loved daughter, sister, niece and friend".

Following a vigil held for the 32-year-old, her brother, Niall, told Belfast Live: "What the community has brought together is unbelievable - they've been absolutely brilliant and they've given great comfort to our family."

He added: "You couldn't have said a bad word about our Natalie, she loved everybody."
