Arrest after man found stabbed in Harehills street in Leeds and rushed to hospital

A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after he was stabbed in Harehills.

West Yorkshire Police say the incident happened at around 5.50pm yesterday (Friday) on Ruthven View. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man with a stab wound.

He was taken to hospital with serious injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening.

A spokesperson for the force added that a man has been arrested in connection with the incident.

Anyone who may have witnessed it or may have CCTV footage of the incident is asked to contact Leeds CID by calling 101, or online, quoting reference 1378 of 18/3. Alternatively, information can be given anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
