It has been a good day for the Baltimore Ravens. First, they were finally able to nail down a contract extension with quarterback Lamar Jackson with $185 million guaranteed. Now, they have used pick no. 22 in the 2023 NFL draft on another weapon for Jackson. After signing wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. in free agency, the Ravens have now selected Boston College wide receiver Zay Flowers in the first round.
For one of the worst wide receiver units in the entire league, the Ravens have spent time and big-time assets to get Jackson a massive upgrade at the position. We will wait until the third round before our beloved Cleveland Browns come on the clock.
