Around 40 people are believed to have died and 115 others were injured when a fire tore through a crowded bar during a New Year’s Eve party at the upmarket Swiss ski resort of Crans-Montana, officials said.
Swiss police confirmed that several dozen partygoers were killed, adding that many victims have not yet been identified because of the severity of their burns.
