Shoppers in Arnold have praised a much loved store with “endless bargains.” The discount store, Stock Monster, has bargains galore. The store sells high-end beauty products, household products, clothes and more. Located on 105 Front Street in Arnold, many customers have praised the store and its staff. Others told Nottinghamshire Live that they go into the store more than once a day.
The bargain store sells high end beauty products, clothes, household products and more. Sammy Jackson, who lives in Arnold goes to Stock Monster, regularly. The 57-year-old grandmother said: “It’s [the store] amazing. I’ve never been to town since it opened. I come down on my scooter. I’m here once a day.
“The staff here are really good too, they know me off by heart. You get a bargain here and people leave with heaps of stuff.”
Arnold resident Jameson Bronton also visits the store often. Praising the friendly staff, the retiree enjoys browsing through the store with his wife.
The 65-year-old said: “My wife and I have got a few things from here, she loves it more than me. You plan to just go in and have a look and leave with more than what you expected to get. The staff are friendly too, with how things are now, every area needs a good discount store.”

One local woman, who wanted to remain anonymous, told Nottinghamshire Live sometimes she goes into Stock Monster twice a day. Buying arts and crafts for her daughter mainly, this woman said that she “wouldn’t know what to do” if the bargain store wasn’t there.
She said: “I love it here, it’s amazing. I wouldn’t know what to do if this store wasn’t here. I’m here everyday, sometimes, I come here twice.
“The staff are amazing too and it’s very rare that something is wrong with what you bought but if there is, then it’s sorted out there and then. I would cry if it closed.”
Carla Snape, a receptionist from Aspley, visits Arnold regularly. When she can, she’ll look inside Stock Monster. She said: “I park in Arnold and then get the bus to go to work so when I can, I look around in some of the shops.”
The 39-year-old continued and said: “I wish my area had a shop like this, I bet it’s a Godsend to so many people, this whole High Street I think is great. I’ve got what is supposed to be expensive shampoo from Stock Monster for about a tenner, where else can you get that?
“Online, things will say that they’re that price but then when you add delivery charges and what not to that, it’ll be so much more.”
It comes following recent speculation surrounding the future of a Stock Monster store in Mansfield which has not been open for weeks. However, the Arnold store is not connected or impacted and fully open for business.
