Following the announcement of the closure, many shoppers have shared their frustration over the store closing, with the nearest locations for the popular shoe retailer being Nottingham, Long Eaton and Mansfield. On Facebook, one resident said: "Hugely disappointed to read this, it's been great having this shop locally."
Another added: "Feel really concerned about the closing down of shops in Arnold over the years. My age group have not got the energy/mobility to go into town trying on shoes ect. Surely we don't need anymore eatery's. Just saying!!!"
