Arnold Schwarzenegger's secret son pays tribute to his famous father with new project

Joseph Baena has taken inspiration from Arnold Schwarzenegger for his latest film, which includes a special nod to his famous father.

The 25-year-old is following in Arnold's acting footsteps and is set to star as a navy pilot in the upcoming film Called to Duty.

In the film, America is threatened by missile attacks from a secret island nation and must use their best pilots to strike back before it's too late.

A new clip from the movie shows Joseph's character flying into battle with the rest of his team members.

As they're set to fight back, Joseph speaks to his fellow pilots through a headset as he puts his own spin on his father's iconic line form The Terminator.

"In 1984, there was an actor that gave one of the greatest lines of all-time," Joseph says in the clip, which was obtained by TMZ.

One of the pilots then asks what the line was before Joseph looks straight at the camera and says: "I'll be back."

Arnold made the line famous when he starred as the main character in The Terminator.

In his new Netflix documentary, the 75-year-old sat down with director James Cameron as they recalled clashing over the iconic line.

"Sometime in the middle of the shoot, we're doing this police station scene. The line is, 'I'll come back.' It wasn't meant to be like a big moment at all," James revealed.

He added: "It was literally meant to be, on its face, 'No problem, I'll come back.' For some reason, Arnold didn't say, 'I'll come back.'

"I said, 'Well, just say, 'I'll be back.' Keep it simple'."

Arnold said he thought "I'll be back" sounded funny coming from a cyborg and suggested changing it to "I will be back" to sound more "machine-like".

Speaking in the documentary, he recalled: "He says, 'Are you the writer?' And I said, 'No,' and he said, "Well, don't tell me how to f*****g write'."

James won the argument and the line went on to become one of the most famous quotes in Hollywood history.
