Arne Slot is hoping that Liverpool striker Hugo Ekitike is fit for Thursday’s high-profile Premier League meeting with Arsenal.

The Reds have been relying heavily on their French international of late in the absence of fellow summer signing Alexander Isak, who is sidelined for a couple of months after undergoing surgery on an ankle injury and leg fracture suffered during the win at Tottenham before Christmas.
