As Christmas rolls around the corner, many shoppers will be eager to finish off the last of their Christmas shopping.
With the Christmas Markets fully in swing, the city centre will likely be extremely busy for the next month but that doesn't mean you can't get your shopping done. However, what it does mean is that opening times for stores will change slightly to help accommodate the increased demand during the season.
And with over 240 retailers, the Manchester Arndale is the easiest spot in the city centre to find whatever kind of Christmas present you need for friends and family. There will also be a string of seasonal pop-up shops throughout the Christmas period situated in the Arndale as part of its The Spirit of Christmas campaign.

However, to ensure you don't miss out on all the bits and pieces you need to get together for Christmas, it's important that you familiarise yourself with the alternated opening and closing times over the coming weeks.
According to Arndale, while individual store times may vary, the whole of the shopping centre will have the following opening hours from Thursday, November 10 to Friday, December 23:
Shops
Monday to Saturday: 9am - 9pm
Sunday: 11.30am - 5.30pm
Foodcourt and Restaurants
Monday to Saturday: 8am - 10pm
Sunday: 9am - 7pm
Christmas Eve
Shops in the Arndale will generally be open from 9am and will close at 5pm, although individual store times may vary. Similarly, the foodcourt and restaurants will be open from 8am and will close at 5pm.
All stores, restaurants and the foodcourt will be closed on Christmas Day.
Boxing Day and Bank Holiday
The Arndale Centre will open on Boxing Day on MOnday December 26 with many shoppers expected to head out for the sales.
Shops will generally open at 8am, and close at 9pm. The foodcourt will open 8am and close at 7pm.
On Tuesday 27 December, which is the Christmas bank holiday, shops will open at 6am and close at 9pm. The foodcourt will open at 8am and close at 10pm.
