A crew member on the set of the film 'Rust' gave emotional testimony in court regarding the fatal shooting incident that resulted in the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. The dolly grip recounted the events leading up to the tragedy and placed much of the blame on the film's armorer, Hannah Gutierrez Reed.
The crew member described Gutierrez Reed as lacking the professionalism and seriousness typically seen in armorers, highlighting her alleged negligence in leaving guns and ammunition unsecured. The testimony revealed that a live round was mistakenly loaded into Alec Baldwin's gun, which discharged during a scene preparation, causing the fatal injury to Hutchins.
