Police have launched a manhunt after armed robbers threatened a shop worker with a kitchen knife before making off with the till in County Durham.
The terrifying incident happened shortly before 8.50pm May 3 at The Late Shopper, in Proudfoot Drive, Bishop Auckland.
Two men threatened a female member of staff with a kitchen knife before stealing the till and running out of the shop. The suspects, who were dressed all in black, are believed to have made off in the direction of Howard Close towards Bishop Auckland College.
