Police have released footage of an armed robbery in Dungannon where a burglar smashed security glass with an axe in a commercial premises.
The robbery took place in a shop on Scotch Street in the Co Tyrone town in December, with the thief making off with more than £6000 in cash.
The video shows the terrifying ordeal between the thief and the shop employee, where an axe is swung in the direction of the counter.

Video footage from the incident was shown on BBC crime show Crime NI.
"As shown on BBC Northern Ireland Crime NI, we are investigating an armed robbery in Scotch Street, Dungannon on 29th December 2021," a police statement said.
"At approximately 7.45pm, police received a call that a male had entered a shop carrying an axe.
"The male approached the shop counter and struck the security glass with the axe several times.
"The male then instructed the cashier to hand all the money over. The cashier handed the offender a bag of notes containing exactly £6016 and €755.
"The male then instructed the cashier to get on the ground as he fled from the premises."
