A mum has lost £1,500 on a holiday to Tenerife after being escorted off a TUI flight by armed police.
Kelly Clarke and her nine-year-old son Toby were set to fly from Manchester Airport to Costa Adeje at around 5.50pm on May 30, but their travel plans soon turned into a nightmare.
Despite arriving early at the airport, Kelly said they were met with "carnage" inside the terminal, with long queues for restaurants and nowhere to sit down. They eventually boarded their flight three hours after its original departure time, where Kelly claims they were held in "boiling hot" conditions for another three hours - with one little boy even vomiting from the stress, the Manchester Evening News reports.
