Armed police have descended on a home in Dovecot as the investigation into Olivia Pratt-Korbel's murder continues.
Churchdown Road, just off Dovecot Avenue, was cordoned off by police this evening (Friday). Officers were seen arriving on Dovecot Avenue, close to a row of shops, before entering a house on Churchdown Road shortly after 4.30pm.
Police are believed to be in the area as part of the investigation into Oliva Pratt-Korbel's murder. It comes after armed officers raided a block of flats in Huyton on Thursday night.

Search teams were seen carrying evidence bags and protective forensic suits up a stairwell to one of the flats in Huyton, while Matrix vans were parked in the complex.
A 36-year-old man from the Huyton area was arrested on suspicion of little Olivia's murder and two counts of attempted murder. He is currently in custody being questioned by detectives.
Olivia was shot dead in her own home, on Kingsheath Avenue, Dovecot, after a gunman burst through her front door on Monday night, August 22. Olivia was behind her mum, Cheryl, at the time of the attack, when she was hit in the chest with the same bullet that injured her mum.
The gunman was chasing two other men at the time of the shooting. One of them was 35-year-old convicted burglar Joseph Nee, who was also shot.
In a statement earlier today, a spokesperson for Merseyside police said: "We have arrested a 36 year-old man on suspicion of the murder of nine year-old Olivia Pratt-Korbel. The man, who is from the Huyton area, was also arrested on two counts of attempted murder.
"The arrest came after an operation involving armed officers in the Merseyside area last night, Thursday 25th August. The man is currently in custody where he is being questioned by detectives.
"An investigation remains ongoing and anyone with information is asked to DM @MerPolCC or contact @CrimestoppersUK on 0800 555 111. Information, footage or images can also be submitted via the Public Portal (mipp.police.uk)."
