'Armed cops' have locked down a set of flats in the east end of Glasgow amid reports of multiple slashings.
Emergency services raced to the Sandyhill flats on Strowan Street, near Shettleston, after the alarm was raised on Tuesday night. Pictures posted on social media show dozens of police at the scene.
Unconfirmed reports from locals suggested 'a number of people' had been slashed. It's understood police quickly cordoned off an area near the flats while a number of people were taken away by ambulance crews.
