Armagh midfielder Stephen Sheridan scored a bizarre goal for Forkhill in Sunday’s Intermediate Football Championship clash against Belleek at the Athletic Grounds.
The sides were level at half-time and at full-time and two 10-minute periods of extra-time also failed to separate the teams.
The South Armagh rivals will meet in a replay this weekend with the winners set to face Tullysaran in the quarter-final.

Sunday’s game, which was streamed on Armagh TV, might have ended up as a thriller, but the first 10 minutes was scoreless in Armagh City.
Mark McParland’s point opened Belleek’s account after 11 minutes, but they were left reeling by the concession of an unfortunate goal at the other end.
Attacking the Dalton end of the Athletic Grounds, Sheridan’s shot for a point was blocked down by a Belleek defender, but the firm pitch and a wicked bounce took the ball over the head of the stranded Rory Craven.
Despite the body blow, Belleek covered and were level at the break, 1-3 to 0-6.
Craven could do little to stop Forkhill’s second goal as Finn McCormack rifled the ball into the net from close range, but Belleek managed to edge ahead midway through the second half with free-taker Sean McCreesh in fine form.
Inside the final 10 minutes, Forkhill regained the advantage with their third goal via Conor Donaghy before Mark McParland responded in kind for Belleek.
Former Armagh panellist Barry Shannon held his nerve to rescue the game for Forkhill with an injury-time free with the game finishing 3-8 to 1-14 after 60 minutes.
Belleek were a point ahead at half-time in extra-time, but the sides were level again at the end of extra-time and the replay will take place this weekend.
The rest of the quarter-final line-up sees Shane O’Neill’s face St Peter’s, Collegeland taking on Culloville with St Paul’s set to meet Wolfe Tones.
