Arm of Co-op Live developer handed £7m contract to manage almost 80 buildings

A division of the company constructing the £365m Co-op Live arena in Manchester has been awarded a £7m contract to look after almost 80 buildings in and around Merseyside.

BAM FM, the facilities management business of BAM UK and Ireland, has been appointed by Merseyside Police to look after its headquarters in Liverpool and a further 78 buildings.

Under the terms of two separate three-year contracts, which are extendable by an additional two years, BAM FM will deliver 24/7 electrical and mechanical maintenance services including proactive and reactive projects.
